Incredible lows, so soon after a rare high
Feelings of stupidity and worthlessness
For believing things could be better
Your hope is destroyed
With no hope, no reason left to fight
The punishment begins, ends and begins again
You draw the lines that’ll see it through
The pain it dies
As life pours out of you
Cold now, you begin to weep
As you slowly fade into your eternal sleep
Leaving behind the believers
The people who cared
The ones who stood by you
Now ridden with guilt
Blaming themselves for your demise
Telling themselves they should have done more
